Why Removing Clutter Matters for Scorpion Control

Scorpion

At Hunter Pest Control, we often see homes where scorpions find easy hiding spots, not just in cracks and walls, but under everyday clutter.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Scorpions love to hide under objects like toys, yard tools, stacked items, or rocks near your home.
  • If you only spray over the top of clutter, pests can still stay hidden underneath, untouched.
  • Scorpions can crawl from block walls, under clutter, and right into your house. We’ve even had customers step on one inside their home.

👉 Pro Tip:

Whenever you have items along the side of your house, like rocks, kids’ toys, buckets, or anything else — move them before spraying. Treat underneath those areas, let it dry, and then put the items back. This helps ensure pests don’t have a safe place to hide and reduces the chance of them sneaking indoors.

By combining clutter removal with targeted pest control treatments, you’ll have much better results in keeping scorpions (and other pests) away.Â
